Medical Science Liaison (MSL) HaematologyLocation: BelgiumIntroduction to Role:
Are you ready to work on the ground breaking of science with our rich pipeline? We are seeking a Medical Science Liaison with a focus on Haematology. In this role, you will be a scientific expert in the field, engaging in high-level scientific exchange, building and maintaining peer-to-peer relationships with external authorities, and uncovering unmet medical needs. You will also be part of a cross-functional team in our Oncology Business Unit, contributing to the development and implementation of our medical product strategy.Accountabilities:
Your responsibilities will include working closely with Regulatory, Market Access, and Marketing on field related medical issues, supporting local, regional and global AstraZeneca clinical research programs, and providing medical and scientific input on our sales promotion activities. You will also be tasked with coordinating and completing scientific events for healthcare professionals, maintaining expertise in your therapeutic area through continuous education, and ensuring compliance with all local regulatory requirements.Crucial Skills/Experience:

  • University degree in a health-related scientific field: MD or PhD
  • High-level of scientific knowledge and ability to analyze and process clinical and scientific data
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including communicating complex technical, scientific, or medical information to broad audience types
  • Proficiency in English, Dutch and French
  • Driving license, and willingness to drive within the designated area.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry (preferably in haematology)
  • Extensive knowledge of the legal and ethical framework and the procedural guidelines that apply to the promotion and approval of medicinal products in Belgium
  • Experience in collaborating closely with healthcare professionals
  • Launch experience
