Medical Secretary / Office Manager (Kilkenny City)Our client, a busy clinic based in Kilkenny City are looking for an experienced Medical Secretary / Office Manager to join their team. This role will see you deliver and coordinate an exceptionally high level of support and Customer Service.Duties:

  • Organise patient appointments, ensuring efficient scheduling, rescheduling, and managing cancellations.
  • Meeting and greeting all patients.
  • Organising patient’s lists.
  • Organising theatre lists.
  • Handling phone and email queries.
  • Maintaining and updating accurate and up-to-date patient records via specified medical system.
  • Billing patients and taking payments.
  • Typing letters, clinical reports and transcriptions.
  • Reconcile Insurance forms.
  • Ordering office supplies and overseeing the maintenance of office equipment.
  • Pay practice’s invoices.
  • Maintaining total confidentiality of personal and financial data.
  • Maintain a very high level of confidence and discretion.
  • Ad hoc projects and duties that may be required from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of Medical terminology would be Preferable.
  • Strong typing skills.
  • Dictaphone typing experience ideally.
  • Excellent time management & attention to detail skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as a team and on own initiative.
