Contract: Start ASAP for 6 months
Rate: Approx. £26 per hour, weekly pay
Mid-Level, minimum of 1 Years’ ExperienceWe’re hiring a Podcast Producer to join a high-quality, editorially driven show for a 6-month freelance contract. You’ll be working across the full podcast production cycle – from planning and recording to editing and publishing – with a strong emphasis on journalistic integrity and audio storytelling.What You’ll Be DoingPlan and Coordinate episodes: research topics, book guests, and manage content calendarsRecord and Edit engaging episodes using Adobe AuditionCreate Content: write show notes, intros, and transitionsManage Guests: from scheduling to communication and prepPublish and Distribute: Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google PodcastsQuality Control: ensure every episode meets high editorial and audio standardsWork to Reuters-level editorial benchmarks for sourcing, accuracy, and balanceWhat We’re Looking ForAt least 1 years experience in podcast production, journalism, or audio storytellingSolid editorial judgment and storytelling skillsConfidence working independently without creative supervisionProficiency in Adobe Audition (training provided for all other software)Strong attention to detail and audio qualityWhat You’ll GetEquipment and platform access providedFull onboarding on style, workflow, and publishing toolsInterview-based content with dispatch-style elementsStructured weekend shifts (Sat & Sun, up to 11 hours/day) – hours are scheduled, not flexiblePaid at standard TV freelance weekend rates in addition to week day workThis role is Outside IR35 and ideal for a confident, mid-weight producer ready to take ownership of weekend content delivery in a fast-paced, editorial setting.Interested?
