MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN 50-100 MILLIONS DOLLARS IN REVENUE

Responsibilities

As a General Manager In Telecom on the Wireline side of MasTec, you are responsible for all financial aspects of the Area&rsquos operation. The GM is also responsible for implementing and adhering to all Company policies and procedures. You believe in doing the job right. Being the best. And you&rsquore up for the challenge.

In addition, you will:

• Give direction, guidance, and support to construction and project management departments
• Develop and direct processes to facilitate the successful completion of projects from start to finish
• Prioritize projects based on needs and escalation, and assign projects as necessary
• Regularly evaluate performance and develop your team&rsquos skill set and knowledge of telecom construction
• Interface with vendors, subcontracts, and the client
• Drive safety culture

Qualifications

About You:

• You have a track record of completing work with a high level of quality
• You have a knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy a hands-on approach to your work
• Safety is a part of your day
• You have at least 5 years of progressively challenging leadership experience, preferably in a telecom construction environment
• You embrace the challenge of coaching and mentoring your team and driving change when needed
• You have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn custom software
• You have an understanding of basic accounting principals
