If yes, then you might be the perfect candidate for the position of Mortuary Logistics Personnel at East London Forensic Centre.The East London Forensic Centre handles sudden deaths that have been referred to the H M Coroner and receiving and cares for peoplewho pass away in the Waltham Forest.The council provides East London Forensic forHer Majesty’s Coroner for the Eastern Area of Greater London.Key Responsibilities:As a Mortuary Logistics Personnel, you will be responsible for transporting the deceased from the place of death to our mortuary facilities, ensuring that they are handled with dignity and respect. You will also assist with the preparation and storage of the bodies, as well as loading and unloading them from the vehicles. You will work closely with our team across four coronial areas , and other staff to provide the best possible service to our stakeholders and their families.Qualifications and Requirements:To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and qualifications:

  • A valid driving license and a clean driving record
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Able to lift and carry heavy weights
  • Able to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment
  • Able to follow instructions and protocols
  • Able to work with minimal supervision
  • Able to communicate effectively and respectfully with clients and colleagues
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and discretion
  • Able to cope with emotional and physical demands of the job
  • High attention to detail including in cleaning duties
  • A compassionate and empathetic attitude
