Overview:Multi Skilled Maintenance TechnicianLir Chocolates, Navan, County Meath, IrelandWe’re on the lookout for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and help keep our chocolate production running smoothly. If you’re a proactive problem-solver with a strong engineering background, this could be the perfect role for you!Position type: Full time, permanentPay: €51,376 – €60,008 (€24.70 – €28.85) + shift allowance.Hours: 40 per weekShift Pattern: 3 week cycle rotating between the below weeks:
Responsibilities:Swiftly troubleshoot and repair equipment and electrical systems * Perform corrective and preventive maintenance for mechanical, hydraulic and electrical control systems.Use data to drive improvement initiatives and enhance efficiencyMinimise downtime by responding quickly to breakdownsCollaborate with teams across the factory to plan maintenance and improve processes * Operation of Engineering Stores to ensure spares requirements are met.
Qualifications:Recognised QQI L6 engineering qualificationStrong electrical and mechanical skillsExperience with food manufacturing machinery such as conveyors, depositors, and wrapping machinesExcellent communication skills and a proactive approachExperience with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is an advantage Rewards Benefits:
