Your main role as a Network Analyst is to provide monitoring and operations support for telecommunications services delivered by DHL Information Services across the globe for the following technologies: LAN, WAN, WAN Optimization, Wireless LAN (Wi-Fi), Firewalls, Proxy, DNS/DHCP, VPN, FAX over IP, VoIP, Videoconferencing, webcast.
- Co-ordinates and participate on incident resolution for Telecom infrastructure, technical information gathering from internal/external customers during incident resolution.
- SME of telecommunications and support the Service Centers’ telecommunications infrastructure including WAN, LAN/WLAN & Voice Services.
- Resolution of business critical incidents by providing interim and permanent technical solutions.
- Diagnoses incident trends and network capacity to enable the correct capacity planning and capabilities of existing infrastructure.
- Participates in changes and follow the change control process.
- Implementation of defined changes, mainly DNS, DHCP, proxy.
Ready to embark on the journey? Here’s what we are looking for:
- 1+ year of experience in networking
- Basic knowledge of TCP/IP and DNS infrastructure
- Understanding of Cisco switching / routing technologies and protocols
- Basic knowledge of wireless LAN technologies
- Understanding FW and NIPS principles
- Ability to explain technical topics to non-technical stakeholders
- Knowledge on CCNA level is desirable
