NETWORK & CYBER MANAGER

JOB SUMMARY:

The Network & Cyber Manager will be responsible for managing our organization’s network infrastructure and ensuring the security of our digital assets. This role involves overseeing the design, implementation, performance, and maintenance of our network systems, as well as developing and implementing cyber security policies, procedures, and technologies to ensure the protection of our organization’s data, and systems. The Network & Cyber Manager will also be responsible for managing a team of network and cyber security professionals, ensuring that they are equipped to handle the organization’s networking and security needs effectively.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement network infrastructure strategies to support the organization’s goals and objectives.
  • Design and implement network security measures to protect the organization’s digital assets.
  • Manage a team of network and cyber security professionals, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware and software.
  • Monitor network performance and security, identifying and addressing issues as they arise.
  • Develop and implement cyber security policies and procedures to protect against threats.
  • Collaborate with the global IT team and local production leaders to ensure the timely patching and updating of systems and software.
  • Oversee intrusion detection and prevention across the environment.
  • Manage security incident handling and response.
  • Manage patch and software distributions, along with managing the remediation of vulnerabilities.
  • Manage security configuration of the Patch Management system(s).
  • Manage security tools and other technologies used to secure the network.
  • Manage the organization’s security awareness training program for employees.
  • Conduct regular security audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Stay current with developments in network and cyber security technologies, recommending upgrades or enhancements as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that network and cyber security requirements are met.
  • All other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • Years of Experience: 5+ years of experience in network administration and cyber security.
  • Experience with network security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and VPNs. Experience with the NIST Cyber Security Framework a plus.
  • Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, CCNA, or CCNP, are a plus.

TRAVEL: 

Travel Required: Minimum

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Strong understanding of network protocols and technologies. CISCO Meraki experience a plus.

Excellent leadership and communication skills.Creative problem solver with ability to solve complex issues, applying appropriate technology and resources.Strong detail orientation, ability to set priorities, manage time, multi-task and meet deadlines.Ability to quickly learn and accurately administer complex processes.Strong ability to track actions and follow through on processes.
