Network Engineer

We’re looking for a Network Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. You will join a team-based work environment and you need to equally familiar with and delivering solutions that meet challenging requirements.

You will report to the Senior Manager of IT Operations. It is a Hybrid Job workplace type

You will design, manage, and automate traditional, cloud and hybrid network technologies including load-balancers, firewalls, remote access systems, SD-WAN and Wi-Fi.

Technology You’ll Use

• Datacenter grade Cisco routing and switching
• IaaS/PaaS on Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP and OCI)
• Extreme wireless networking technologies
• Palo Alto firewalls, security solutions, remote access systems and SD-WAN technologies
• On-premise and cloud-based network automation technologies
• F5 load balancers

Your Role Responsibilities? Here’s What You’ll Do

• Manage and design cloud and data center class network technologies centered around Cisco and multi cloud-based infrastructure
• Integrate traditional on-premise network infrastructure with cloud-based network technology
• Maintain Palo Alto firewall technologies to provide a high degree of security and resilience is maintained at all time
• Maintain a SDWAN infrastructure
• Ensure high availability, SSL acceleration and SSL offloading through F5 Big IP technology
• Provide support, assistance and guidance to network operations teams to ensure network incidents are handled.

• You use your skills to develop and implement enterprise-grade network infrastructure that is efficient, scalable, resilient and secure in its design.
• You have experience working within a geographically distributed IT team spread across multiple time zones
• You are focused on delivering for the customer and are experienced with user facing applications and operating systems
• You employ and have excellent troubleshooting and fault finding capabilities
• Provide guidance and technical leadership in a group setting
• You are passionate about network engineering and want to enhance your experience, knowledge and capabilities through learning and continuous improvement
• You are self-led, motivated and enthusiastic about network engineering and related fields

Role Essentials

• Four-year degree in Information technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an background of experience that merits equivalency.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in Cisco-Based Network Engineering in an important 24×7 environment
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an IaaS/PaaS role on Public Cloud.
