Network Engineer (full-time, one opening)

L&T Technology Services Ltd. is in need of a Network Engineer in Edison, NJ and various unanticipated locations throughout the US to design, implement, and maintain computer networks for clients in the U.S. to ensure the network infrastructure is efficient, secure, and reliable. Evaluate and optimize network performance as needed. Design and implement computer networks, including LANs, WANs, WLANs, network segments, intranets, and other data communication systems as well as install and maintain network hardware and software. Network performance monitoring, troubleshooting connectivity problems and security monitoring. Validation of performance and functionality of network protocols 802.11 AC/AX/BE. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues as needed. Update security measures as needed to minimize the risk of unauthorized users gaining access to the system. Assign proper roles to network users as well as update security permissions as needed. This position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or the foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any) or related field. Must have two (2) years of IT experience. One (1) year of the two (2) years of IT experience must include experience with Wireless Sniffer, Attenuator, Roam Tool, C-MART Server and Client, Chariot IXIA, Access points, and Radius Servers (IAS, FUNK and ACS). In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, or the foreign equivalent, we will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or the foreign equivalent) earned through any combination of education, training, and/or experience, as determined by a professional evaluation service. All experience may be acquired concurrently. Travel and relocation is required. International travel is not required. Travel will be required up to approximately 10% of the time. Travel will include trips to various L&T Technology Services Limited’s facilities as well as client facilities across the U.S. Travel based on business needs and may be required to physically examine prototypes as well to review designs for calculation or monitoring purposes.
