Job Title – Network Engineering – Telecom Expense Management

The Purpose of This Role

The Telecom Expense Management team under Data Center & Network Services (DCNS) group within Fidelity Business Services India Pvt Limited manages the Circuit Provisioning & Telecom Expense Management function. This group caters in procuring Telecom Circuits for Fidelity Data Centers, Campus Sites, Investor Centers, Co-Lo & Customer locations. This also includes Invoice Management & Approvals. In addition, it also procures Market Data Feeds for Fidelity Capital Markets and manages their billing processes.

The Value You Deliver

• Circuit Order Management which includes requirements gathering and validation prior to order submission.
• Attend weekly vendor calls to know the status of the Circuit orders & provide updates to the stakeholders.
• Coordinate the Circuit test and turn-up with Telco’s, Engineers, and Regional Technicians.
• Solve order issues and handle escalations. 
• Handle Invoice Approvals that include Invoice validations, processing & auditing.
• Manage Circuit Inventory build & Maintenance which includes quarterly audit of Invoice Exceptions.
• Identify billing discrepancies & File disputes with carriers and track the same to closure.
• Report generation related to Business Unit Spend using MS Excel / Power BI & Tableau
• Good Understanding of Telecom Contracts terms and conditions.

The Skills that are Key to this role

Technical / Behavioral

• Knowledge of various Telecom Circuits. (DSL, DS1, DS3, OC3, ISDN BRI etc.)
• In-depth knowledge of MS Excel, including Word & SQL.
• Inventory Management & batch uploads.
• Knowledge of Telecom vendor billing platforms and invoice procedures
• Strong Project Management & Vendor Management skills.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Self-motivated, independent, positive, friendly, and enthusiastic
• Able to learn quickly and perform at a high level in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communicator.

The Skills that are Good to Have for this role.

• Knowledge of Calero/Rivermine Telecom Expense Management tool will be an added advantage.
• Working knowledge of Tableau / Power BI and other Analytical tools.

How Your Work Impacts the Organization

You would be responsible in ensuring appropriate telecom circuit gets procured as per the Business/Engineering requirements as per the agreed contract with the telco vendors. Ensure timely payment of Telecom invoices, thus ensuring there are zero circuit termination notices/ service interruptions.

The Expertise we’re looking for

• Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline with 4 to 6 years of work experience in the telecommunications Industry preferably in Provisioning or Telecom Expense Management role.
