We are looking for a Network Engineer with a focus on Operations in Infrastructure and Network Operations. You will be part of a diverse and dynamic team that values openness, trust, and curiosity.

Your New Team:

You will be part of the 2nd Level Fixed Network Operations team, responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Service Provider and coax infrastructure. Your Role:

As a Network Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining and advancing our infrastructure services. Your expertise will contribute from design and development to troubleshooting and optimization of various networks. With focus on operations in Infrastructure, we’re searching for Network Engineer who can excel in a diverse stakeholder environment. In Norlys you will collaborate with product managers and participate in interdisciplinary groups across the organization. You will also:

• Build and maintain customer services.
• Ensure documentation and processes regarding the network are updated and meet our standards.
• Handle network operations through proactive maintenance.
• Implement, operate, and monitor business solutions.

About you

You are proactive team player who is motivated by delivering excellent customer service. Experienced in troubleshooting and installations and eager to find creative solution to challenges. You will be part of a remote on-call rotation with colleagues, where you may be called outside normal working hours. It is required that you are fluent in English, both in writing and speaking, and that you can maintain a security clearance from FE, at level HEM.

We prefer that you have good experience with Cisco and Juniper. Key terms here will include SP-Backbone, SP-BNG, MX-platform, routing & Out-of-Band management. Since automation is key, it would be an advantage if you have experience with Python, Ansible, Cisco NSO, Netbox, and similar frameworks. Additionally, knowledgeable in firewall operations and holding a CCNA certificate is an advantage.
