Description

Position Summary

AXA Group Operations initiate with its Network Product Department a One Network Program to tackle its digital transformation, enhance user’s connectivity experience, and mitigate cyber risks. Within Network Product department, Data Center & Cloud product line is responsible of AXA Data Center and CLOUD Network infrastructure, including routers, switches, load balancer, Internet access, DC interconnexion backbone, DWDM, Cloud network environment (AWS, AZURE, GOOGLE, Intercloud)

Data Center & Cloud Network engineer are designing, engineering, delivering, and supporting those products and services, that strongly contribute to One Network program initiative.

Key Responsibilities

  • The Network Product Engineer is responsible to define, advertise and ensure to deliver of sustainable, robust, and secured solutions. In close collaboration with Group Security, CTO and One Network Program, the Network Product Engineer will propose solutions at the right cost and bring business value to support the corporate business and lines of business strategies.
  • The main activities include the following for his/her own area of responsibility:

o Contribute and support a medium to long term product evolution and continuous product improvement,

o Manage the advisory, selection, design, secure build & integration for the products in scope

o Facilitate communications and interactions between functional groups, AXA IT Services, strategic partners, and vendors.

o Ensure QOS delivery and support of solutions

o Provide high expertise support on products and services

  • Communication skills – Exhibits strong skills in listening, spoken and written communication, collaboration, and the ability to work in a global team. Network Products Engineer are expected to have the ability to understand and discuss with both senior managers and IT, and explain in clear language complicated architectural concepts and strategies
  • Openness and reaching out – Strong human relationship skills, exhibit curiosity and can see opportunities in situations, not just problems
  • International profile – A proven ability to work effectively in an international environment. In addition, exhibits a strong proficiency in English

Qualifications

Skills and Experience

  • Strong experience in driving large architecture, standardization & transformation initiatives.
  • Core activity: main focus on DC technologies with Cisco ACI and Vmware NSX-T competencies
  • Must have Network Automation skills (Terraform, ansible, Python)
  • Maintain deep understanding of the Network technology and market practices (competition landscape, technology trends) with very good/established level of expertise
  • Must have strong expertise in Network & Cloud design patterns, Security solutions & IT infrastructure best practices.
  • Experience in managing Data Center and CLOUD Network technologies, AWS, AZURE, GOOGLE, INTERCLOUD, Transit Gateway, ACI, Switch Fabric, Load-balancer, VMWARE NSX-T
  • Knowledge in Network Security products, SASE, VPN (Cisco, F5), Firewalling (Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Cisco, Algosec), Web gateways (McAfee), Segmentation technologies and identity services, voice, wifi, SDWAN, LAN wired, WAN, MPLS will be appreciated
  • Must have Network Automation skills (Terraform, ansible, Python)
  • University degree (engineer profile) with +8 years’ experience in Network Domain in an international and Matrix organization,
  • Must exhibit a strong understanding of today’s Network and infrastructure challenges and trends, mostly at Infrastructure and Technical levels.
  • Established and demonstrably productive technical relationships with major IT vendors
  • Strives for excellence with deliverables of high quality and ability to work in tight planning
  • Gather, combine and analyse business and technical requirements from critical constituents. Recommend appropriate technological designs and solutions that align with business requirements, the company’s technical strategy and which provides the most efficient and cost-effective solution.
