Network Management works with the lines of business to manage the cost of the network. The Network Management Pricing team is accountable for the pricing analysis and record keeping of securities and cash agent bank cost saves using available data to identify trends and to perform analysis to facilitate negotiations and for review with the lines of business. This role requires engagement with multiple stakeholders within Network Management, Operations and in the Lines of Business. 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Conducting comparative pricing analysis and supporting Network Managers to achieve cost reductions utilizing safekeeping values, transaction volumes, cash balances, debit/credit interest, rate cards, and spend data. 
  • Record keeping of pricing analysis at different stages from audit perspective and ensure proper documentation of evidence for realized saves.
  • Improving data quality by identifying and reviewing data anomalies and working with relevant teams to resolve, conduct root cause analysis and take steps to prevent recurrence.
  • Tracking pricing analysis through its phases from inception to implementation with rigorous follow up and ensuring proper documentation of evidence for realized savings.
  • Maintaining executed fee schedules on the system of record.
  • Providing executed fee schedules to the relevant internal teams with any necessary clarifications to ensure that new fee schedules are implemented as expected, working with the Network Managers as needed.
  • Producing a variety of ad hoc reporting for agent bank meetings enabling decision making and price negotiations.
  • Responding effectively to varied market specific enquiries given diverse pricing schedules across agent banks with country specific nuances.
  • Monitoring pricing related data quality through collaboration with the invoice processing teams to interpret and navigate data nuances, perform root cause analysis and introduce robust controls.
  • Contribute to special projects and initiatives as required
  • Proactively leveraging data insights and thematic analysis for Agent spend for data quality & support to Network Managers
  • Responding promptly and effectively to any market specific enquiries and escalations received from Network Managers
  • Ad-hoc reporting to Senior Management of the overall financial relationship with agent banks for agent bank meetings and cost negotiations.
  • Actively engaging in identifying solutions to improve data.

Required qualification, skills and capabilities: 

  • Graduate from any stream and with minimum 12+ years of work experience.
  • Knowledge of pricing concepts for cash and securities services, including fee based and non-fee based revenues/costs
  • Strong analytical/data skills, to able to understand and work with data structures and complex data analysis including proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Good problem solving and creative thinking skills 
  • Attention to detail combined with an ability to absorb information, highlight potential data quality issues and own to resolution.
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with stakeholders
  • Strong communication and engagement skills. With the ability to interpret complex information to communicate and tell stories with data in a meaningful way suited to the audience
  • A financial services background with an understanding of agent bank invoice attributes and structures is preferred.
