JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide 7X24 support for WAN, LAN, Wireless, and related technology
Ensure all IT network services are designed and configured to achieve maximum uptime
Ensure all IT network services are monitored, backed up, secured, and documented
Perform regular maintenance on all systems to ensure vulnerabilities are patched and systems secure
Prepare and test disaster recovery plans for critical network services
Ensure all services are appropriately sized to support the business needs (capacity management)
Research and evaluate new network technologies to improve available features and meet the changing business needs
Installation and management of network end points and software
Provide end user documentation and training
Resolution of tickets placed assigned to the Network Services technical team
Work with key vendors like Cisco, Palo Alto, and F5 to fix any issues that cannot be solved internally
Responsible for entering change management tickets in ServiceNow and attending Global Change Management Advisory Board meetings to present network changes
Ensure project work and changes are successfully planned, implemented, and tested
Standardize Infrastructure processes, procedures and equipment for all supported systems
Support and build B2B tunnels to third party suppliers and vendors
Support of F5 Load Balancer system upgrades and patches
Support of F5 Load Balancer system configuration and support issues
Participate in Corporate technical working groups as needed
Ensure all network services comply with Vertiv Architecture standards
Ensure all network services comply with Vertiv Security standards

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
At least 5-7 years of experience supporting Cisco networking, wireless, and related technologies
Desire to find a network engineer with deep expertise in Cisco wireless networks
Cisco Viptela or SD-WAN experience desired
Experience with Cisco Catalyst and Nexus Switching desired
Minimum education required is an Bachelor’s degree in a technology field
