In your role as Network Specialist, you will work with a set of network technologies being used in the corporate data center.

You will maintain one of Denmark’s biggest enterprise network solutions and become a member of a team consisting of approximately 10 specialists.

Develop, implement, and maintain

As the Network Specialist focused on the DC network, you will work with a variety of Layer 2 (switching) and Layer 3 (routing) technologies available in the Cisco Nexus platforms (standalone NX-OS) as well as in Cisco ACI.

With 4 global Datacentres supporting 1500 Branch sites, you spend most of your time on the area where you are the technology specialist and you also occasionally respond to complex incidents, in cooperation with other in-house Engineers and TAC. You will work closely with Network Architects and the vendor, in order to optimise and develop the network we operate.

Your responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders across both infrastructure and application areas
• Translating network performance into understandable insights
• Take ownership of a technology
• Optimization of network infrastructure
• Documentation of network topologies and changes
• Troubleshooting of networking issues, root cause analysis
• Responsible for implementation of network Infrastructure projects globally
• Preparation and coordination of technical tasks, maintenance of project documentation

You will be a part of the Network Architecture team within IT Operations and refer directly to the Manager of Network Architecture.

Skilled Network Specialist specialised within network using Cisco ACI and Cisco technologies

Are you a skilled Network Specialist with a deep interest in Cisco ACI and other Cisco technologies? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our dynamic team. We are seeking a candidate who can leverage their deep understanding of network infrastructure to effectively manage enterprise platforms. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving change and optimizing our network systems.

Our requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with data center networks for in-house application-hosting environments
• Understanding of ACI basics, including:
• Knowledge of ACI architectures, including single site, multi-pod
• Knowledge of key ACI components for Layer 2, Layer 3 connectivity and basic security concepts in ACI
• Desirable but not required: experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) and any automation tools
• Knowledge of generic network security concepts
• Understanding of client-to-server flows, including load balancers and firewalls
• Proficient in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills to support network operations across all locations
• Documentation skills to ensure clear communication and knowledge transfer
• Fluent communication in English, both verbal and written
