As a Software Test Specialist, you will be challenged and will be expected to:
Understand and become highly proficient at setting up networks based on both Nokia and Multi-Vendor family of products including IP Service Routers, LTE RAN and Optical network elements.
Design automated tests in a programmable environment, using Javascript,, python to test product functionality and customer use cases.
Work closely with Developers and Product Management in an agile environment to jointly deliver high quality products and solutions.
Work with new products and technologies which will be managed by our management portfolio, including advancements to Service Routing, LTE and Optical technologies.
Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
Experience with software design and concepts, exposure to various programming languages
Knowledge of network management concepts and basic protocols (e.g. Openflow, Netconf and SNMP) preferred.
Knowledge in IP networking, familiar with networking concepts such as Routing Protocols (ie OSPF, BGP,), DHCP, RADIUS AAA, MPLS, IP VPN, VLAN, VLL/VPLS, etc. preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills are required
The candidate must be able to successfully work in a collaborative environment
Need to be part of one or multiple scrum teams and actively participating in Program Increment planning and sprint planning to successfully deliver quality use cases
Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and to work in a fast paced, innovative environment with lot of collaboration with different teams
ADDITIONAL ASSETS
Knowledge of Web based technologies and Javascript
Knowledge of virtualization, Openstack, NVF and related technologies, Kubernetes, containerization
Prior and demonstrated experience in a Product Verification, Software Development, or IP/LTE/Optical Networking roles Knowledge/experience in the Evolved Packet Core of an LTE network deployment
Familiarity/proficiency with RHEL
Ability to produce high quality test strategies, test plans, and test cases, regression monitoring and maintenance
