Sanctuary Personnel is currently seeking an experienced Band 6 Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to take on a new locum opportunity based in Walthamstow, within the CAMHS Team.Location: WalthamstowContract Type: Locum, ongoing contractPay Rate: £26 per hour (assignment rate)Duties:
- Working as part of the duty rota – reviewing and prioritising new referrals into the service, responding to queries from referrers/carers and young people
- Completing triage assessments, including assessment of risk
- Completing initial assessments to determine if young people meet the threshold for CAMHS – signposting and liaising with other services
- Completing brief interventions
Requirements of the Registered Mental Health Nurse:
- Degree or equivalent in Mental Health Nursing
- Valid NMC Registration
- CAMHS experience is essential
- Must be able to work in the community, travel in the local area, to hold a caseload and to complete assessments/risk assessments of young people
- Must be able to work collaboratively with other agencies and services
