Location: Staffordshire – County WideRole Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated Non-Medical Prescriber (NMP) to join a dynamic team in Staffordshire. You will deliver expert clinical services to people with substance use and alcohol-related disorders, providing evidence-based care and prescribing in line with recovery-focused goals.Key Responsibilities:Deliver regular NMP clinics, providing clinical treatment and support to individuals with substance and alcohol use issues.Line manage nursing and recovery staff and provide monthly clinical supervision in the absence of the Clinical Lead.Support the development of non-medical prescribing services across Staffordshire.Mentor new NMPs and provide training to staff on substance use and alcohol-related disorders.Carry out detoxification procedures and contribute to care planning and treatment.Ideal Candidate:
You should have strong clinical experience in prescribing, a sound understanding of substance use and alcohol-related disorders, and the ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. You’ll be a mentor, a team player, and someone passionate about supporting others in their recovery journey.Working Relationships:
Collaborate with various internal and external teams including Clinical Leads, GPs, social care professionals, pharmacies, and other healthcare providers to deliver seamless and integrated care.

Expected salary

£30 – 31 per hour
