What You’ll Do 

We seek a consulting professional who has a broad understanding of solutions, industry best practices, and network design relating to VoIP and related technologies and protocols. This individual will develop software solutions that complement, customize and extend the capabilities of Oracle Communications products; configure and troubleshoot systems; provide follow-on support for open issues; and create and execute test plans for deployments of these software solutions. 

You will operate independently to provide quality work products to an engagement; perform varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs; demonstrate expertise to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements. 

What You’ll Bring – Mandatory 

  • Coding and scripting experience in alignment with Agile software development methodologies
  • Experience coding/scripting in Javascript and J2EE
  • Experience in Java automation and Testing Frameworks
  • Experience developing and delivering solutions in Linux environments
  • Experience interfacing with third party applications using technologies such as XML and REST
  • Knowledge of functional, performance testing in telecom core network nodes in Linux environment.
  • Strong experience or demonstrable knowledge of SIP protocol/applications/interfaces; detailed knowledge of SIP RFC 3261 and other complementary RFCs
  • Consulting, implementation, architectural design, and use case requirement analysis skills and experience in the enterprise voice and video space
  • Knowledge of and experience with Oracle Converged Applications Server or with Oracle Weblogic platform.
  • Knowledge and experience of data communications concepts including network architecture, TCP/IP, SNMP, NTP, SCTP and troubleshooting of these
  • Candidate must possess impeccable communications skills (verbal and written) and strong customer management skills 
  • Team oriented player with a willingness to help others
  • Good command of English in written and spoken communication is a must

What You’ll Bring – Desirable

  • Expertise coding/scripting in Perl, Python, Lua, C++
  • Experience developing front end user interfaces
  • Experience in Git and Subversion
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Jenkins, BDD automation
  • Experience with Oracle Session delivery products 
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Unified Communications products and solutions
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 2-5 years of experience relevant to this position including 2 years consulting experience preferred
