Primary Function:

Manage the day-to-day operations of the Agri division in the Philippines, including sub-divisional business units, with P&L and operational responsibility. Ensure achievement of short-term targets in terms of revenue growth, operational/capital expenditure control, and operating profit margin.

Key Performance Indicators:

Oversee daily operations of the Agri department
Ensure established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met, as per the Business Management system
Meet Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) targets and goals
Deliver on strategic objectives as planned with Management

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Achieve budget objectives for the business unit regarding operating profit margin, revenue, operating expenditure, and capital equipment utilization.
Improve organizational structure to enhance efficiency, service quality, and delivery focus.
Ensure implementation and development of the company’s quality program at all levels, maintaining compliance with ISO 9001 and the Inspectorate Quality Management system.
Attend meetings with clients to provide technical advice and resolve issues, including advising on pricing and specifications for testing, inspection, and cargo management.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across operations in alignment with company, client, and industry standards.
Monitor staff performance and ensure all are trained to required levels of expertise.
Oversee the consistent application of Group Policies and procedures across the division.
Uphold Bureau Veritas’ Code of Ethics in all operations.
Maintain relationships with overseas offices and sub-contractors to ensure performance meets required standards.
Provide assistance with Inspections and Draught Surveys during peak periods.
