Operations Manager – Permanent – Galway
CREGG are currently recruiting candidates for an Operations Manager role with our client based in Galway. The successful candidate will report to the CEO for the European Operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to European CEO Managing all aspects of operations:

  • Scheduling courses that the company offers, as requested by Sales.
  • Working with customers to agree logistics
  • Scheduling trainers & upskilling
  • Including management of all logistics on venues/materials etc

Responsible for all operational costs and governance:

  • Working closely with finance to ensure all payments are received correctly.
  • Weekly reporting of key metrics

Capacity planning:

  • Retain a team capable of delivery of a wide range of courses.
  • Recruit new talent as necessary based on demand.
  • Interact with international counterpart to get required trainers.
  • Onboarding of any new trainers to Salesforce & Instructor Community & Quality System.
  • Manage the team of instructors and ensure compliance with Quality, GDPR, invoicing and other processes

Own the training Quality System. The system is already in place just need to ensure compliance and that is stays current and fit for purpose.

Sub-contract delivery: Ensure correction, administration of submissions / liaison with learners, notification of results to learners / dispatch of certificates to learners or L&D’s are completed as per contractual agreements.
Requirements and Skills

  • Ability to see the full picture, overview of business and how each role and responsibility aligns with own role
  • Manage the etender portal and work with technical writer to ensure all tenders are submitted.
  • General IT/processes/records issues & maintenance. Interface to international counterpart on IT security
  • Candidates need to be very IT literate and ideally previous experience with Salesforce.
  • Experience managing an operation up to €5m in revenue
  • Customer centric focus. Happy to pick up phone to customers, clients and partners
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing technical environment
  • Ability to respond to and request assistance when needed
  • Strong interpersonal skills required.
