Fundraising Executive
Full time: Mon-Fri with occasional weekends and evenings.
Reporting to: Community and Campaigns ManagerAbout the RoleThe Fundraising Executive will work as a part of the Community & Campaigns team, where they will support various elements of fundraising including community, events, and individual giving.The Fundraising Executive will be an organised, passionate individual who works well in a team environment and takes a flexible approach to work. They will possess excellent organisational skills, a positive attitude and an appetite to learn and develop their skills.BUMBLEance is on a mission to create an inclusive and welcoming culture for all. Reporting to the Community and Campaigns Manager, this is an exciting opportunity to work within a small team in a dynamic environment and gain valuable cross-functional experience. The successful candidate will support our community fundraisers, attend events, and help develop our donor care strategy.Key Responsibilities and Duties:Individual Giving/ Donor Care
- Working with our office administrator to ensure all Individual Donor data is up to date and accurate on our CRM system; CHAMP
- Working with Community & Campaigns team to develop and fulfil donor journeys for regular givers
- Assisting Community & Campaigns manager with planning direct marketing campaigns
- Growing our regular giver portfolio
Admin
- Fulfilling orders from our online shop
- Office management of the Dublin office – stationery orders, managing cleaners, supplies and other ad hoc administration
- Office stock control
Community
- Working with team to support our community fundraisers including fundraising pack fulfilment
- Managing volunteer rotas
- Applying for collection permits for collections as required
- Attend local, regional and national community fundraising activities and events
Campaigns/ Events
- Attending and supporting Bumbleance events such as our annual hike as required
- Support the promotion of Campaigns, Community Fundraisers & Events and support logistics when necessary
Other
- Flexibility to travel and willingness to work occasional weekends/evenings
- To undertake such other duties as might be reasonably assigned from time to time
- Supporting fundraising efforts across the department
Key Skills and Competencies:Skills/ Experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience/ knowledge of CRMs an advantage
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Excellent IT skills with knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office.
- Experience working with a team
- Administration experience in office or other environment
- Experience working to deadlines
Person Specification
- Knowledge and interest in the charity sector
- Fluent in English
- Attention to detail
- Ambitious self-starter
- Full Driving Licence
