Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our Facilities & Maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial painting and an eye for detail, ensuring that all interior and exterior surfaces of the property reflect the highest standards. Experience with specialty painting techniques is highly desirable. This role requires a reliable, detail-oriented professional who takes pride in their craft and enjoys contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform interior and exterior painting across guest cottages, common areas, and facilities
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming
• Apply specialty finishes (faux, textured, or decorative techniques) when required
• Assist with minor flooring projects (installation, repair, refinishing)
• Maintain tools, supplies, and workspaces in an organized and safe manner
• Work with the maintenance team to ensure projects are completed efficiently and with minimal disruption to guests
• Follow all safety standards and property guidelines

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional painting experience; commercial setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of painting tools, materials, and surface preparation
• Specialty painting experience strongly preferred
• Flooring experience a plus (tile, wood, or vinyl installation/repair)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to quality craftsmanship and attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and demeanor
