The teams the role serves operate in Scrum. The ideal candidate will have experience in both Scrum and Kanban scenarios and will be well versed in the Scrum Guide, WIP, Cycle Time, Lead Time, Predictability, and the importance of Product Value. We are looking for a dynamic, collaborative personality that can champion the cause of the Agile movement within the organization. You are passionate about leading change, helping shift mindset and influence culture change. Fostering new ways of thinking, new ways of working and building new capabilities that will help unlock new possibilities for U.S Bank. You possess strategic vision and tactical mastery and combine it with an entrepreneurial spirit to get it done. Guide and help facilitate backlog refinement, estimating and sizing efforts, sprint planning, daily scrums, sprint reviews and retrospectives. Drives quicker delivery of value and continuous improvement by utilizing feedback and metrics to identify areas of opportunity within the team and organization and then guide to improvement. Facilitates team transparency by escalating impediments and shares progress by the team to the appropriate channels.Basic QualificationsBachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experienceAt least 3 years of experience in Agile technology delivery and Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC) teamsAt least two years of experience in a Scrum environmentSkills/ExperienceStrong knowledge of Agile values, principles and practicesDemonstrated growth and curiosity mindsetAble to explain what Agile mindset means, what makes a great team and how both of those connect to the Agile PrinciplesStrong communication, collaboration, leadership, conflict resolution, and time management skillsExperience as a Scrum Master serving multiple teams simultaneouslyPositive attitude and ability to inspire the team toward continuous improvementAbility to work in ambiguity and iterate to a solutionWorking technical knowledge of the software development process – design, development, test, and deploymentUnderstanding of basic fundamentals of iterative and incremental developmentExperience with outcomes-based planning and delivery (i.e., OKR) a plusCSM (Certified Scrum Master) or PSM (Professional Scrum Master) certification a plusThe role offers a hybrid / flexible schedule, which means there’s an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.This position is not eligible for visa sponsorshipIf there’s anything we can do to accommodate a disability during any portion of the application or hiring process, please refer to our .Benefits:We offer an exciting, fast-paced and diverse working environment with employees of many different nationalities.
