Duration: PermanentAre you an experienced Payroll Administrator looking for a new opportunity to showcase your skills and expertise? Look no further! We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Payroll Specialist, reporting to a manager/senior manager. In this role, you will provide end-to-end payroll services, including auto-enrolment pension management, to a diverse range of clients using Sage Payroll software.Roles and Responsibilities:
- Process weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls accurately
- Perform manual calculations of statutory pay and ensure compliance with payroll legislation
- Verify client-provided information and address any queries promptly
- Generate and review various payroll reports
- Compile report packs for publication and distribution.
- Maintain an up-to-date work schedule.
- Finalize payroll processing upon client confirmation, issuing reports and online payslips
- Coordinate banking submissions with managers for BACS processing
- Upload pension details to relevant providers within specified deadlines
- Manage daily payroll data inbox, addressing client queries and resolving issues
- Prepare year-end reports and distribute P60s
- Ensure all payroll activities comply with legislative requirements
Skills & Experience Required:
- High-volume payroll experience in a bureau setting
- Proficient knowledge of payroll legislation
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in client interactions
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Ability to demonstrate problem-solving initiative
- Flexibility and proactive management of multiple priorities
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel
Desirable
- Experience using Sage Payroll software.
- Previous payroll experience in an accountancy practice.
- Knowledge of auto-enrolment.
