Job description
We are seeking am experienced NFT Performance Test Manager for a permanent role based in Dublin City Centre.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in crafting comprehensive performance test strategies and orchestrating end-to-end performance test programs, including Operational Acceptance Testing (OAT) across diverse test environments. Additionally, they will have a track record of introducing innovative practices to elevate and refine the overall software development lifecycle. Possession of ISTQB Foundation or Performance Tester certification is essential, while certifications such as PMP, CSM, or Test Manager would be advantageous.Key Responsibilities:
– Spearhead Thought Leadership in Non-Functional Testing (NFT) and Operational Acceptance Testing (OAT).
– Conduct Root Cause Analysis and proficiently manage risks.
– Ensure the effective implementation of Performance strategies.
– Oversee Value Stream and test metrics reporting and management.
– Develop the overarching NFT Approach in collaboration with Infrastructure, Security, and Capacity testing teams.
– Estimate and manage timelines for NFT activities.
– Collaborate with the environments team to review Pre-Production environment components and plan their availability.
– Participate in Test Environment planning sessions, advocating for the NFT team to secure Pre-Production environments.
Requirements:
– Minimum of 10 years’ hands-on experience in Performance Testing.
– Certification in ISTQB Foundation or Performance Tester is mandatory.
– Additional certifications such as PMP, CSM, or Test Manager would be advantageous.
– A background in consultancy or financial services would be highly advantageous.
– Proficiency across a spectrum of technologies including Payments, API, Digital Banking, MVP regression across web, mobile, .NET, mainframe, Siebel, and microservice technologies.
– Expertise in tools such as JMeter, Smartbear, Postman, Browserstack, etc.
