Services outside normal working hours are provided on an emergency on-call and urgent weekend basis. It has a staff of approximately 90 WTEs with one third dedicated to OPD services. It is a significant provider of student clinical placements, taking circa 110 UCD students per annum. It has active education, research, quality & patient safety and staff wellness programmes within the department.Job Purpose:The position requires a strategic approach to the development of Physiotherapy services and structures, embracing continuous quality improvement and the management of changes necessary to achieve departmental and organisational objectives.
