PLANNING ASSISTANT
East Donegal.
We are working with a client (manufacturing company) we know well and have placed with previously many times across various departments, an Employer based outside Letterkenny who currently have a vacancy for a Planning Assistant to work with their Planner, and support the production planning of manufacturing across two locationsDuties include:
– Collating production data
– Recording of production data
– Reviewing production performance against plan, stock holding, current orders, forecast orders
– Creating of production plans and issuing to various stakeholders
– Generating various reports and analyses for use in the wider business
– Prepare sales and operation planning information
– Liaise with:
o production management on ensuring the optimum plan is agreed in line with effective use of resources
o commercial team to ensure the plan is dynamic enough to respond to customer needs
o warehouse & logistics team to help deliver effective load fill
o procurement team so as to ensure plans are aligned with material resources availabilityExperience, Skills and Attributes
Ideally seeking someone with experience in FMCG manufacturing environment educated to Degree level with knowledge of Microsoft Excel, ERP systems and who has good communication and interpersonal skills.Other info

Salary DOE – Competitive in line with market
Hours -Monday- Friday 08:00am – 5:00pm, on site
