You will be selling the company’s wide range of Plumbing & Heating products & Accessories, including Brass/Copper Valves & Fittings, Plastic Pipes, Plastic Push-Fit, Plumbing Accessories, Taps, Showers, Tools & Consumables. They push mainly their own brand together with key brands – Speedfit, Fluidmaster, Tetraflow. I have 2 positions available here, the first is selling into Independent Plumbers Merchants / 2nd line merchants plus UK Plumbing Supplies. In this position you will be tasked with negotiating price directly with the decision maker and be expected to “wheel & deal”. The region is the North West with key focus around Lancashire and Manchester. The 2nd position is concentrating on PHG & IPG Buying Group members such as Hargreaves, Pochins, MKM and Duftons. In this position you will have very little price negotiation as it is all centralised via the Buying group agreements. The region for this position is the North West and West Yorkshire / South Yorkshire. In both positions you will manage approx 125 accounts.CompanyThe company are a leading Distributor of Plumbing Products and are growing quickly. 1 of these positions has been created due to growth.PersonMy client is seeking someone with a strong Plumbing / Heating pedigree who is linked to merchants. My most recent placement within this business come from City Plumbing as a Branch Manager and is doing splendid. They will also look at a seasoned & experienced ASM who is selling into plumbers merchants currently. You will be lively and driven, able to build relationships and be able to think on your feet. A large important part of this role is analysing customer spend and identifying where you need to focus within the region.

Expected salary

£43000 – 44000 per year
