Cpl Healthcare in collaboration with our client in Jersey are seeking skilled and experienced Podiatrists to provide exceptional care to patients. Our client’s podiatry service is committed to delivering high-quality treatment and management to individuals with a wide range of clinical needs, including high-risk diabetes, chronic diseases, and challenging behaviours.As a Podiatrist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, treating, and managing a caseload of patients in line with our service criteria. You will apply effective assessment and diagnostic criteria, formulate treatment plans, and undertake surgical interventions for complex nail pathologies as required.Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, treat, and manage a caseload of patients with various clinical needs.
  • Undertake diagnostic procedures using appropriate equipment and interpret results effectively.
  • Maintain high professional standards and adhere to departmental and HCPC guidelines.
  • Conduct basic biomechanical assessments and prescribe orthoses as needed.
  • Deliver health promotion activities to individuals and groups.
  • Utilize information technologies for video consultations and in-service training.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, relatives, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Adhere to service statements, joint working practices, and protocols.
  • Maintain accurate electronic clinical records and documentation.

Requirements:

  • B.Sc. in Podiatric Medicine.
  • HCPC or CORU registered
  • Local Anaesthetic Certificate.
  • Full Driver’s License.
  • Knowledge of current podiatry practices and clinical issues.
  • Broad spectrum of clinical experience.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Commitment to high standards of care and professional development.
  • Permission to live and work in the UK & Ireland.

Desirable Skills:

  • Postgraduate education.
  • Experience in domiciliary care provision.
  • Proficiency in advanced biomechanical assessments.
  • 2 years relevant postgraduate experience.
