Express Employment Professionals is hiring Poultry Farm Worker in behalf of our client in Coaldale, AB.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Feed and tend livestock, poultry, and other animals.
• Sort, brand, and handle animals.
• Maintain or assist in the maintenance of facilities and farm infrastructure including cleaning stables, barns, barnyards, and pens.
• May prepare poultry/ animals for transportation.
• May operator and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
• Able to work alone or with a team.
• Assist with the cleanliness of work areas including picking up debris when necessary.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, and colleagues.
• Uphold high safety standards.
• Thrive in a busy work environment and demonstrate initiative in meeting goals.
• Ability to learn new tasks.

Requirements:

• Ability to lift to 50 pounds.
• Livestock Farm experience is an asset
• Laborer experience considered an asset.
• Positive attitude.
• Highly motivated and able to work independently and with a team.
• Ability to multi-task and determine priorities.
• Exhibit initiative, responsibility, and flexibility.
• Willing to be trained to operate farm machinery and equipment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 37 per week
