  • To contribute towards building / modifying the product offer (contracting, pricing, new guarantees, product evolution, law evolution, market evolution, emerging experience)
  • Analyse the profitability of proposed products in the context of Solvency II
  • Perform Solvency II calculations and analyse products’ solvency
  • Test the sensitivity of the results under different hypotheses and conduct stress scenario tests
  • Prepare technical notes of findings for presentation to relevant stakeholders and internal management
  • Stakeholder management with all teams in Actuarial and Underwriting Department, and across the company
  • Prepare presentations and participate in various decision-making committees (Business Committee, Technical Committee)
  • To ensure good governance / documentation and adherence to relevant policies and procedures
  • To collect and analyse market and product statistics, benchmarks, market issues
  • To participate in the development of the software tools used by the underwriting department (mainly pricing tool, business plan tool) and assist Pricing and Underwriting Manager in developing / documenting underwriting guidelines

Analysis & Projects:

  • To perform ad-hoc technical analysis / projects and preparation of partner communications
  • To perform regular back testing of our best estimate assumptions and assist with updating of pricing assumptions/assessing pricing adequacy taking into account emerging trends in our experience
  • To contribute to projects in the pricing team as assigned, such as budget calculation, IFRS17

  • With Auditors, Internal audit, corporate clients & third party administrators

  • Trainee Actuary with a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience

  • Fluent English – French/Italian is not necessary for this role. Optional French/Italian classes available
  • Good communication skills, team player, organised and punctual
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Analytical skills with a high level of problem solving and critical thinking
