We are looking for you to join our team as a Principal Field Engineer (Network Engineering) or Sr Principal Field Engineer (Network Engineering) based out of San Diego, CA with up to 50% travel throughout CONUS and OCONUS locations in support of USAF exercises (domestic and overseas travel).
What You’ll get to Do:
Be part of a technical team that operates and maintains a complex tactical communication system in sustained operations and exercise. This is an exciting and dynamic opportunity for Network Engineers to stay current with their certifications while expanding their skills outside traditional roles to include Linux, voice services, cyber security, and a variety of military data links. You’ll also get to:
CONUS and OCONUS ( “continental United States” and “outside the continental United States”) travel up to 50% in support of USAF real world operations and exercises .
This position may be filled as a Principal Field Engineer (Network Engineering) or Sr Principal Field Engineer (Network Engineering).

Preferred Qualifications:
Salary Range: $88,700.00 – $133,100.00Salary Range 2: $109,900.00 – $164,900.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate’s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
