and many many moreYour role as the Procurement and Logistics Lead is a key position within the Supply Chain Department and your main aim is to oversee the procurement department, supporting and developing the team.You will
- take ownership of sourcing, negotiating, and managing vendors
- create, deliver and monitor KPI’s relating to cost, OTD, quality, service and continuity of supply
- prepare RFQs, manage tender processes, and ensure robust evaluation criteria are in place
- build and maintain strong partnerships with suppliers
- expedite purchased parts
- ensure issues such as returns and shortages are processed effectively and in a timely manner
- ensure quality and performance of supplier materials/parts fall in line with acceptable standards
- ensure incoming and outgoing shipments are cleared through customs
- continuous improvement activities
You will need:
- Ideally +3 years experience
- Strong organisational and communication and IT skills
- A lean thinker
