Product Line Manager, Staff – Cloud & Datacenter Networking, Apstra

Remote Position

The Apstra Team at Juniper Networks is looking to hire a passionate product line manager focused on the product strategy and features development of Apstra Intent-Based Networking product with emphasis on analytics, telemetry, observability, and UX.

As a member of the product team, you will partner closely with cross-functional business teams, customers, development engineering, and product marketing. You will play an essential role in setting product vision and communicating vision to stakeholders.

What you will be doing:

• Roadmap Building: Identify and prioritize use cases, design elegant and effective customer journeys. Possess the determination to drive a multi-year roadmap balancing short and long-term goals. Provide clear and transparent direction to all on what the roadmap and features will and will not encompass.
• Product Launches: Contribute to creating and delivering global launches with the marketing team and analysists along with the GTM strategy and sales activation.
• Presenting: Deliver content clearly, concisely, and without jargon in many forms including live presentation, technical reports, presentation slides, podcasts, and other media formats. Build, deliver, and maintain technical customer and SE level presentations. 
• Competitive Analysis: Analyze competitors’ products, capabilities, and value propositions to identify areas of differentiation to aid in the development of effective competitive strategies and tactics. Identify gaps or limitations and identify the features and resources to address those gaps.

You may be a good fit for the team if you have:

• Three years of experience in product management
• Must have knowledge in the area of data center solution design and implementation or equivalent market
• Experience delivering products as cloud-based services is a plus
• Experience with data analysis, streaming telemetry, gNMI, & data visualization
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent project management and leadership skills, especially in a fast-paced cross-functional environment
• Strong technical background and work experience in computer networks & automation technologies
• Experience in data center, IT, WAN, enterprise campus, wireless, or cloud networks
• Proficient with Atlassian Suite (Confluence and Jira) and familiar with GitHub, Bitbucket, and Jenkins
