The company prides itself on its excellent customer service and its efficiency in the production of bespoke equipment to its clients and delivery.We are supporting the Company to find a very special individual who is capable of taking on a variety of responsibilities and is self- motivated and quick to learn.What you will need to carry out this job:Experience of working in a production and/or logistics environmentAble to lift goods and be able to work around production and warehouse areas.Keen attention to detail, well organised and methodicalGood communication skills face to face and over the telephoneYour responsibilities will include but not be limited to:Processing and shipping of partsAssisting the Logistics Operative with goods in, goods out and stock controlPicking and packing and despatch of sales and service orders achieving deadlinesReceiving of goods, booking them in, carrying out inspections of components and goods and storage of components in accordance with company processes and procedures including ISOLoading and unloading of vehicles and placing items in their allocated placeLiaison with transport companies and couriersRaising, issuing and completing works orders using the in house systemUndertaking checks and inspections of tools, machinery, PPE and other items as requestedAdvising of any shortages of goods/parts and any delays to procurement and managementStock taking and auditsKeeping work spaces clean and tidyAdhering to company Health & Safety procedures.Does this sound like you?
