You will have the opportunity to work in a world-class manufacturing facility, collaborating with a team of dedicated individuals to produce life-changing products.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • People
  • Providing direction to Shift leads in carrying out their daily tasks, daily planning of work and organization of holidays and overtime as required
  • Perform monthly Ace checkin with all direct reports to drive an environment of feedback and coaching.
  • Coordination of staff training and development and ensuring that training is completed in a timely manner and that training records are properly maintained.
  • Allocation of unit resources to the various unit functions (e.g. compounding, OE, process improvement teams etc.) and holiday leave planning
  • Materials
  • Assist in the introduction of New Products and Process Change Controls
  • Manage stock and daily reconciliation of same. Initiate root cause and corrective actions for all discrepancies (both physically and on Merlin system)
  • Compliance
  • Monitor compounding activities. Ensure compliance with Baxter policies/ procedures and cGMP
  • Facilitate calibration and maintenance activities via capacity planning meeting
  • Control environmental monitoring and micro-laboratory compliance within the unit
  • Ensure that sanitizing, housekeeping and cleaning is carried out as pre SOP’s
  • Assist in NCR and Atypical Event investigations. Identify and implement corrective action
  • Review and update SOP’s where needed
  • Follow GMP and GDP practices
  • Compliance to EHS requirements
  • Continuous Improvements (C.I)
  • Use GEMBA to coach staff in best practice
  • Train in Green Belt Lean practice (if needed) to drive a Lean culture within the business
  • Use 6S and Kaizen initiatives to drive a safe and progressive work environment
  • Reporting and Business Support
  • Preparing Production, Stock, important metric and Financial Reports.
  • Deputize for Operations Manager where needed.
  • Be an active leader and participant on site C.I projects

Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience of supervision in a manufacturing area
  • Working in Aseptic environment
  • Experience in Non-conformance initiation and investigation
  • Ability to work in a team based environment
  • Ability to manage a wide range of specific tasks
  • Excellent organisational and coordination skills
  • People management skills
