Job description
Production Support Engineer – SwordsOur client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a hands-on Production Support Engineer to support their manufacturing operations. This role requires a strong technical background and at least 2 years of experience in a medium/high-volume mechanical or manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities
- Support and improve manufacturing processes for existing and new products
- Define and validate manufacturing processes for upgrades and new product launches
- Maintain and develop mechanical/electrical assembly jigs, fixtures, and test equipment
- Conduct process analysis and product quality reporting
- Collaborate with engineers and production teams to drive quality improvements
- Work alongside product designers to ensure efficient assembly design
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a medium/high-volume manufacturing environment
- Hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills
- Team player with a can-do attitude
Desirable Skills
- Experience with Six Sigma tools, Lean methodologies, and process improvement
- Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, SQL, and data analytics tools
- Knowledge of technical drawings, including GD&T interpretation
