Job description
Anderselite are currently working with a Tier 1 Contractor looking for a Project Manager based in the MidlandsKey Responsibilities:Collaborate with engineers and architects to determine project specifications.
Negotiate contracts with vendors.
Obtain necessary permits and licenses.
Plan resources (manpower, equipment, materials) within budget.
Schedule construction operations to meet deadlines.
Acquire and manage equipment and materials.
Hire and supervise contractors and staff.
Provide guidance to laborers and mechanics.
Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports.
Ensure adherence to health and safety standards.
Requirements and Skills:Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager with projects north of £5m
Understanding of construction procedures and project management principles.
Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
Proficient in MS Office and construction/project management software.
Excellent communication, negotiation, organizational, and time-management skills.
Team player with strong leadership abilities.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Building Science, or a related field.
PMP or equivalent certification is an advantage.
