Job description
A leading Tier 1 main contractor with a project portfolio spanning across commercial, residential, educational, industrial, and healthcare sectors. They have a seeking a Project Manager with build experience to join their team.In this Project Manager role, you will be reporting to the Construction Director and will be responsible for general management of projects, health and safety and quality as well as departmental responsibilities.Key responsibilities for this Project Manager role:
- Ensure the project is completed on time, within budget, and up to the highest quality and safety standards.
- Act as the key liaison between the client, providing regular updates to the client.
- Instruct, coach, and direct project staff regarding construction, contractual, and regulatory requirements.
- Effectively manage and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring all site personnel perform their duties to the highest standards.
- Oversee day-to-day operational duties.
- Continuously improve operations by decreasing turnaround times, streamlining work processes, and working cooperatively to provide seamless customer service.
- Develop and deliver progress reports, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
- Build, grow, and maintain business relationships to ensure project success.
- Provide feedback and record information from the project for ‘lessons learnt seminars’ and continuous staff development.
Key Requirements for this Project Manager role:
- A 3rd level qualification in Engineering or a related field
- At least 4 years of experience in a Project Manager or Site Agent role
- Experience with a main contractor or subcontractor in Ireland or the UK.
- Strong knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations
- Excellent ability to interpret contractual documents
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Project, PowerPoint, etc.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team management skills
- Capability to challenge designs and effectively resolve problems
- Full, clean EU driving license
- Eligibility to work in Ireland
Package offered for this Project Manager role:
- Starting salary ranging from €80,000 – €100,000+, depending on experience
