Project Manager
I have an opportunity for a Project Manager to join a Civil Engineering team. Offering station and depot solutions, structures, electrification & plant, track infrastructure, asset maintenance and commercial property.They are looking for a Project Manager with a CRE background to join the team in Birmingham where they have recently won a lot of work on Access for all projects.The key responsibilities for this Project Manager role are:

• Station upgrades – such as bridges, lift shafts, interfacing with platform extensions.
• Ensuring stations plans for evacuation procedures are well thought out and everyone can evacuate safely, considering restricted mobility.
• Working on constructability methods throughout the construction of the projects.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, with a focus on delivering projects within a framework environment.
• Exceptional organisational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and the capacity to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Develop and execute comprehensive project strategies, including scope, schedules, and budgets, to achieve project objectives and align with the company’s mission.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams, external stakeholders, contractors, and suppliers, fostering effective working relationships and ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, promoting a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Conduct regular project reviews, reporting on progress, milestones, and key performance indicators to senior management and stakeholders.

Experience required for this Project Manager role are:

• CRE experience working with electrical engineers
• Station works and upgrade experience
• Experience working on AFA and BNC works
• Drainage experience
• Civil engineering degree
• AMP/NEC background
• Experience working on projects from grip stage 1 to grip stage 8
• Previous experience workone contracting organisation
