Job description

My client, a Munster based subcontractor, is seeking a Project Manager to oversee a major project in East Cork. The successful candidate will have a strong background in plant operations & civil construction.Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all phases of the civil project from planning through to completion.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure project delivery on time and within budget.
• Oversee the operation of heavy plant and machinery, ensuring safe and efficient usage.
• Monitor progress and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Resolve issues and implement solutions efficiently and effectively.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and reporting.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in civil project management, preferably with a focus on large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong technical background in civil engineering or related fields.
• Good knowledge of operating plant and machinery relevant to civil construction.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in project management software and tools.
• Ability to work hands-on and lead by example.
