PROJECT MANAGERAre you an experienced Project Manager within an engineering or manufacturing company?Are you currently a Project engineer or Process Engineer who wants to get into Project Management? If so, I want to hear from you.Though the client are in manufacturing, they are very bespoke and ideally looking for someone from a Dairy, Food or Beverage industry, or related sector such as Oil and Gas or pharmaceutical background but engineering or manufacturing also suitableRole PurposeBe an accountable Project Manager for process engineering solutionsBe responsible for project management of all assigned projects, ensuring all contractual requirements are met, while working alongside project engineers (where necessary) to deliver projects in line with customer requirements, Company procedures, assigned budgets and key dates/milestones.Coordinate cross functionally between the project team, contractors and suppliers that are involved in your projects and hold a responsibility for their performance.AccountabilitiesMain point of contact for assigned projects.Interpretation of contractual and technical requirements and flow into programme, project deliverables and outsourced work packages.Overall responsibility for project budget, schedule, quality and resources for assigned projects.Controlling project scope and identifying change in accordance with Company procedures and contractual requirements.Actively managing and mitigating risk.Hosting regular core team meetings and customer project reviews in accordance with Company procedures.Implementing and maintaining project management tools including action logs, request for information logs, risk registers, etc.Holding the project team and contractors accountable for deliverables, key dates and milestones.Leading site installation and commissioning activities where required, ensuring seamless handover to customers.Producing monthly project status reports for senior management/board review.Driving quality and continuous improvement, effectively using non-conformance and project wash up procedures.Responsibility for your own health and safety as well as those around you.Person SpecificationFormal qualification in an engineering discipline desiredRelevant project management experience in an engineering disciplineExcellent communication and people skillsGood decision making and leadership skillsGood planning, administrative and organisational skillsAbility to manage several projects concurrently and meet deadlinesAbility to manage budgets and resources and understand procurement proceduresAbility to work calmly under pressureAdvanced MS Office skills, including use of MS ProjectUnderstanding of relevant health and safety legislationHold a valid driving licenceExperience of lump sum contractsBe prepared to be trained for new skills and gain extensive project management experience and expertiseBe prepared to stay away if requiredDriving licence and own car a must£45k-£55k- DOE37.7 hour week, Great benefits- pension, bonusHybrid working
