A Project Manager for a highly interesting clientProjects/Technical
- To plan and manage projects to ensure delivery to timescale and budget; maintaining accurate project programmes and budgets.
- To effectively manage client expectations, being proactive and communicating with clients about project status and progress.
- To technically review information for completeness and accuracy.
- To complete technical studies (as relevant to experience).
- Input to financial budgets and resourcing, manage project costs and issue invoices.
- Input to and manage bids and tenders.
- Regular review of on-going projects and potential projects.
- Attend site and supervise staff on site.
- Continually consider risks and liabilities, highlighting concerns to line management.
- Consider Health and Safety and minimise risks at all project stages.
- Operate in compliance with the Staff Handbook, appropriate Code(s) of Professional Conduct and with strict regard to relevant legal requirements.
Team Working
- To work effectively within the company and project team, communicating and sharing information and ideas.
- Actively engage with colleagues and clients.
- Actively manage, coach, encourage and support more junior team members.
- Share and impart knowledge to more junior staff members.
- Develop and manage client relationships.
- Directly manage junior staff both on specific projects and generally within the office.
- Work with the Planning and team and BD & Sales Manager to develop new business development opportunities.
Commercial/Customer
- Maintain good relationships with clients.
- Identify new business relationships and opportunities and follow up.
- Contribute regularly to sales and marketing strategy and activity.
- Highlight and communicate potential issues to line managers and clients.
- Represent Atmos Consulting at internal and external events.
- Take responsibility for performance and delivery.
Leadership
- Demonstrate leadership throughout completion of the project.
- Ensure timely decision making.
- Highlight and management of resourcing issues.
- Communicate company values and consider them throughout projects.
- Support Senior Management on key business initiatives.
- Mentoring of junior staff.
Creativity/Innovation
- Take informed decisions.
- Identify and highlight opportunities for continual improvement.
- Support and develop new ideas.
