Project Manager – Modular Buildings – DublinOffice/Project Location: DublinEmployment Type: PermanentWork Location: Site BasedPay: Competitive Salary Package negotiable based on experience and qualifications,Experience: 5+ yearsVisa: EU passport or Stamp 4 visa requiredOur client is one of Ireland’s leading manufacturer of modular accommodation for the Irish market.The Project Manager will report to the Contracts Manager and oversee project engineers and subcontractorsTo manage a site workforce in a safe and diligent manner, to the highest possible standard, on time and in line with the specification and design information provided.Taking a project from design phase to handoverManaging Design Co ordination workshops with design team, consultants and trade ContractorsEnsuring design is fully co-ordinated prior to starting on site where possibleOverseeing construction operations on your designated sitesEnsuring that work complies with building regulations where applicable.Working with an appointed safety consultant to ensure all safety regulations are being adhered to.Co -Ordinating day to day site activities and nominated sub-contractors.Liaising with Head office to ensure materials and labour are called to site when required.Carrying out Daily & weekly safety checks and ensuring appointed sub-contractors are adhering to safety protocol.Monitoring the construction programme and enabling the subcontractors to carry out their works in accordance with their contract programme.Ensuring quality checks are carried out at various stages of the build & ensuring QA checks are being carried out.Liaising with Local authority representatives and assigned certifiers to obtain handover ofcompleted phases.Dealing with any day-to-day problems which could hold up work as they arise.Liaising closely with Contracts Manager, Quantity Surveyors Site managers , Finishing Foreman to ensure a high standard of work is achieved.Working closely with junior staff, Sub Contractors, engineers, and external utility companies.Updating and reporting back to head office regularly on progress.Liaising with clients and keeping them updated on progress and upcoming milestones.Embrace digital technology & Modern Methods of Construction systems used by the companyOrganise and liaise with the factory to schedule deliveriesRequirementsExperience with Modular Build projects (not essential)Worked with main/sub-contractor on large residential schemesCan draft method statements , Programmes,Liaise with Clients & sub contractorsCarry out QA checks and snaggingArrange logistics for complex deliveriesOrganise and manage sub contractorsPackageSalary based on experience, negotiable for the right candidates.ContactSheila McNeice is the consultant managing this position.If you are a Project Manager interested in roles based in Dublin, you can contact Sheila by e-mail sheila@jobcontax.com or phone +353-1-7978720 for a confidential chat.JobContax do not send CVs to clients without candidate permission.With over 50 years of technical recruitment experience, JobContax is the leading recruiter of Project Managers in DublinDue to the large volume of applications, JobContax may not be able to respond to every individual.EU passport or Stamp 4 visa required
