About UsOcado is a technology-led, global software and robotics platform providing a unique end-to-end solution for customers on a global scale.As part of growing the Ocado business, we have recently announced a new mission to sell our unique ASRS (Automated Storage and Retrieval System) product to organisations operating outside of grocery e-commerce across the globe.About the roleThere is an opportunity for a Project Manager to join the team, who will implement delivery of large scale Automatic Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) projects to Ocado’s customers and will be accountable for the following:Project Management of projects from the pre-deal to ‘ready for execution’ phases including:

• Scope definition and solution development
• Finalising solution design across hardware and software
• Leading OIA’s relationship with customers to ensure alignment and assured outcomes
• Coordination of product development teams as required based on the project scope
• Engagement, alignment and handover to regional project delivery teams

About youProject leadership experience

• Building effective relationships at all levels of the business.
• Assuming ownership of the project and focuses, single-mindedly on its successful delivery, inspiring project teams to follow their lead
• Customer-facing project management including commercial and contractual awareness
• Experience working on CAPEX projects (ideally within engineering / logistics / manufacturing / construction / technology)

• A highly analytical and logical approach to work
• Effective communication and presentation skills at all levels of the business and with clients
• Ability to respond quickly to changing priorities
• Ability to plan and prioritise workload, ensuring all given deadlines are met
• Ability to read situations and understand commercial and contractual impact
• Ability to multitask and manage a number of projects and responsibilities at the same time
• Ability to understand and challenge expert opinions

PreferredSubject matter expertise (to include some of the following)

• MHE including design principles, knowledge of competitor systems
• Software
