Project Manager – Telecom

Description

CTG is seeking to fill a Project Manager – Telecom opening for our client.

Location: Remote (candidates must be located in AKST or PST time zones)

Duration: 12 months

Duties:

• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendor partners to ensure alignment on telecom project objectives.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, translating them into functional specifications for telecom systems and applications.
• Support project delivery activities by tracking milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and meetings to validate requirements and drive clarity in ambiguous situations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system enhancements, integrations, and new implementations.
• Create and maintain project documentation, including business process flows, requirements traceability, and change requests.
• Ensure quality and compliance with organizational and industry standards.
• Assist with testing, validation, and user acceptance activities for telecom solutions.

Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Excellent facilitation and documentation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Project, ServiceNow, or similar tools (ServiceNow training can be provided).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple teams.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the telecom industry or working on telecom-related projects.
• Experience supporting enterprise-level IT or software projects.
• Background in project planning, governance, and risk/issue management.
• Experience working with vendors and cross-functional teams in a large enterprise environment.
• Familiarity with telecom systems, infrastructure, or service delivery is preferred.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
