MetTel is looking for an Advanced Service Delivery Manager to join our Operations team. The Advanced Service Delivery team is an integral part of the implementation of one of our newest and most exciting product offerings! You will have the opportunity to evaluate, plan and lead equipment installations at sites nationwide. 

This position is located either Holmdel, NJ or New York City in the Financial District.

Role and Responsibilities:

In-Feld Support:

  • Must be an proactive individual with a great deal of flexibility and the ability to adapt to frequently changing work volumes.
  • Ability to work cross – functionally with multiple teams in the organization
  • Ability to partner with field technicians/installers to effectively troubleshoot
  • Lead customer installations and provide technical direction and guidance to field technicians.
  • Ensure all customer installations and Turn Up are clearly documented and uploaded to the company reporting port

Project Management: 

  • Define, manage and facilitate of site equipment installations. 
  • Review site surveys and create risk mitigation plan for installations of equipment. 

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • BS degree majoring in a technical discipline (Network Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, etc.)
  • 5+ years of project management experience in site development, equipment installation and deployment within the telecommunications, wireless infrastructure, construction, or structured cabling 
  • Comfortable working in a customer centric, high demand, time sensitive environment.
  • Strong understanding of traditional telephony and wireless site development. 
  • A good understanding of IP and wireless LAN networks, IP network and remote desktop access.
  • Experience managing and administering to client Service Agreements and SOWs. 
  • Effectively communicate with a wide range of cross-functional team members: high-profile clients, construction teams, engineers, vendors, customers, public utilities, and more.
  • Industry certifications (such as PMP, RCDD, or PE license) are a plus.

Additional Requirements: 

  • Ability to occasionally work after hours or weekends to support customer turn-ups.
  • Must be able to successfully clear a Level 1 Government security background check.
