In partnership with our client, Hartley People are seeking to fill the position the role of Project Manager.Description: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our commercial project team. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-value projects and lead a dynamic team in delivering successful outcomes.Responsibilities:
- Oversee project management from initiation to handover, including planning, health & safety, design management, procurement, and site logistics.
- Ensure adequate site resources, manage project schedules, and mitigate risks.
- Prepare and present reports on project progress, quality, health & safety, and financials.
- Collaborate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
- Manage site compliance with health & safety regulations, promote a positive safety culture, and investigate incidents.
- Implement quality assurance processes and ensure high standards throughout the project.
- Work closely with the Quantity Surveyor to manage budgets, procurement, and subcontractor packages.
- Lead and mentor the project team, conduct performance assessments, and manage disciplinary issues when required.
Requirements:
- Relevant 3rd-level qualification.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Experience in managing commercial construction projects is essential.
